Terms & Conditions

The principles and rules governing our programmes, intellectual property ownership, alumni recognition, studio conduct, and admissions at Vertical Combinator.

1. VC Alumni Status

Participants who successfully complete a VC path will be recognized as VC Alumni and become part of the VC alumni/community network.

2. Built Through VC

Any AI tool, software product, startup, business, or other venture built by a participant through VC will be recognized as "Built Through VC" and may be listed and showcased on VC's official platforms.

3. VC Career Outcome

Any participant who secures employment after participating in VC will be recognized as a "VC Career Outcome" and included in VC's official alumni and outcomes records.

4. VC Alumni Work

Projects, research, portfolios, AI applications, products, and other significant work created through VC will be recognized as "VC Alumni Work" and may be featured on VC's official platforms.

5. VC Alumni Achievements

Significant verified achievements of participants, including jobs, startup launches, funding, awards, users, revenue, product launches, or other notable outcomes, will be recognized as "VC Alumni Achievements."

6. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Participants retain full ownership of their ideas, intellectual property, startups, businesses, products, projects, and other work created by them. Recognition by VC does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights to VC.

7. Acceptance & Eligibility

By accessing the website, registering an account, submitting an application, taking an assessment, or enrolling in any Vertical Combinator programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Programme admission is subject to meeting age, prerequisite, diagnostic assessment, and mandatory in-person discussion criteria.

8. Admissions & Discussions

Vertical Combinator operates as a selective builder school. Prospective students may participate in an orientation discussion with the founder before cohort seat confirmation. Diagnostic scores and written submissions are evaluated jointly.

9. Fees, Installments & Refund Policy

Programme fees are payable in full or through approved installment schedules. All payments made via Razorpay or direct bank transfer are subject to our Payment & Fee Policy and 7-Day Refund Policy as outlined on our website.

10. Incubator Code of Conduct & Safety

Students participating in Vertical Combinator live cohorts must maintain professional, respectful, and safe conduct toward peers, mentors, and staff. Harassment, intellectual property infringement, or disruption of the learning environment may result in immediate suspension without refund.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to these terms, programmes, or website use shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
